Spirits-Industry Vets Erin Hayes and Kelsey Ramage Bring their Dark and Twisted Holiday Pop-Up to Austin, Denver, San Antonio, and San Francisco for the First Time
“Building on the phenomenal success we experienced in Los Angeles in 2022 and the success of our expansion to New York City last year, introducing Krampus’ Cove to four new markets this year felt like the perfect move,” says Hayes. “This year, we're thrilled to take our dark and twisted holiday celebrations even further by expanding to four new markets, bringing our total to six pop-ups. We’ve created a haven for those who prefer a macabre twist to the usual holiday cheer, channeling our inner goth metal kid to provide a unique festive experience. Erin Hayes and Kelsey Ramage ideated their first concept, Black Lagoon, after running a pop-up at Tales of the Cocktail in New Orleans’ beloved Dungeon Bar. The first official installment of Black Lagoon took over a popular bar in Toronto in October 2021 and was a massive success to cocktail and Halloween enthusiasts alike. This year, they set up shop in 35 cities internationally throughout North America, Mexico and Canada. With the success of Black Lagoon under their belt, the two wanted to transform another holiday into a spooky wonderland and launched Krampus’ Cove in Los Angeles in 2022, expanded to a second location in New York in 2023, and expanded to include six locations across the United States in 2024. Krampus' Cove is much more than just a bar pop-up, it's an immersive experience that takes the traditional celebrations surrounding Christmas and turns them on their head in a dark and twisted way. Krampus' Cove celebrates the pulpy and macabre legend of Krampus and throws in some naughty elves, evil snowmen and more, all with innovative and delicious seasonally-inspired cocktails. krampuscovepopup.com
