Fresh off the successful launch of her newest venture, Von D Shoes, Kat Von D is proud to announce that her long-awaited debut album will be released later this year.

Von D also confirmed an international run of headlining dates, which will be announced in the coming months.

Von D has been classically trained in piano since the age of five, so fans can expect haunting ballads and musings of love.

The Los Angeles multihyphenate wrote the full-length electronic/soulful album with Linda Perry and features Dave Grohl, Peter Murphy(Bauhaus), Danny Lohner (Nine Inch Nails), Ladyhawke, as well as a duet cover of a classic Spanish song with legendary artist, Charo.

The album was produced by Dave Sitek (TV On The Radio).

The most recent music project for Von D was a guest appearance in three songs on IAMX’s album “Alive in New Light” and toured with the band for a handful of their 2018 dates, including the final night of the tour in Los Angeles at the Fonda Theater.

On World Vegan Day in 2019, Kat launched her much-anticipated vegan shoe brand, Von D Shoes.

The collection includes timeless, unique styles including but not limited to flats, combat boots, creepers, wedges, kitten heels, and slip-ons, and feature several gender fluid styles.

All Von D Shoes are handmade by a team of true artisans in Florence, Italy in a family owned factory that also creates styles for Jimmy Choo, Gucci, Louboutin, and the like.
“When I first became vegan, I found that finding vegan shoes was a lot more challenging than finding vegan food. I really felt like I could fill that void in the market by creating vegan shoes that are affordable, but built to last a lifetime,” Von D said. As with all of her other projects, she has been a part of the entire creative process since its inception: from design, to selecting the fabrics, hardware, box design, logos, and tissue paper design, to art directing and producing the campaigns.
Vegan fashion has long had a reputation of catering to an antiquated idea of what a vegan should look and dress like.

Von D’s main focus while designing this line was to cater to the modern vegan who wants to express themselves and their style in their own way, and doing so ethically.

As an animal lover/longtime vegan, Von D felt it was necessary to create these shoes ethically.

As a result, Von D Shoes are ethically sourced, have a clean supply chain, and are made in healthy working conditions.

Another important aspect Kat focused on when building Von D Shoes was creating a brand that does not contribute to the ‘fast fashion’ culture.

These shoes are built to last forever by using all vegan materials such as embossed velvets, satin, recycled rubber, coated canvas, faux fur and reptile textures, vegan suede, as well as sustainable leather made from compressed apples for select styles.
Von D said, “Finding vegan shoes of good quality that you are comfortable wearing because you know they are vegan was my main concern. I think that my team and I did a great job executing this.”
Von D Shoes are available for purchase now on www.vondshoes.com.

Sizes range from 5 to 12 and pricing ranges from $90 to $350. U.S. and International shipping is also available.

For select styles, Von D Shoes will also be donating proceeds to no kill animal shelters.
